Airport bookstores apparently charge publishers thousands of dollars to have their authors' books stocked - which is why you see so few of them and often the same titles - mainly books of the moment/bestsellers. I remember my editor telling me this when I published my novel Paris, He Said in 2015 - which seemed like a no-brainer for a book to be stocked in an airport bookstore. :\
This is seriously funny! Love the idea of a therapy fish; actually I think acquariums full of fish have the affect of lowering human blood pressure. But are Oreos really vegan?
i was told, by someone observing kosher, that Oreos were made with lard. accordingly she ate Hydrox. but the google says the lard was removed from Oreo in the 1990s. further, however, Hydrox changed its formula, removing high fructose corn syrup and substituting cane sugar. i think that's the direction i would go. if i could eat them, which i can't.
What makes this such great comedy is that it's so spot on. Plus "a therapy fish" made me snort.
Thank you, Arnie! And...therapy fish for everyone! ;)
Nice choice with the last line.
(The rest was good too. Very fun read.)
Thank you, Jason! :)
I have thought that if I ever get a book published, I would plant it on bookstore shelves when no one was looking. So glad to hear that's normal!
I will go with you when you have your first book in hand and put one of mine next to yours! :)
I do this every time i am in an airport bookstore.

PS So happy you got a kick out of this post!
Believe it or not, Oreos are vegan! But they use palm oil (which has led to ravaging of forests with orangutans, Adam reminded me this morning.)
There is no known remedy😊
:) nope!
