Thanks for the reading/rec list! Looking forward to Melissa’s book and I’m excited that Joyce Hinnefeld has a new collection. We published mini collection by her (5 stories) a few years ago at Wolfson Press (at IU South Bend where I work) and it’s so good. I taught at the Northwestern conference a few years ago—this year’s lineup looks awesome!
If I’m helping plan the conference again next year (this year is my first helping to organize it), I’ll hit you up - will be online again, most likely. And Melissa’s new book is excellent!

PS So great that you’ve also published Joyce—Dime Museum is so engrossing and beautifully written.

Great minds!
I love Melissa's book, too! And Normal People is my favorite Sally Rooney novel.
So glad we’re on the same page here ;)
I’ve read Normal People but haven’t yet read Intermezzo. I’m going to try to make it to some of the summer sessions.
I’m liking it but it’s probably about 100 pp too long.
Thank you, Christine!!!
Melissa! Always!! ❤️❤️
