Writers Residencies: A List

Artist/Writer Retreats and Residencies

Many writers, especially those with familial or work-related obligations that make it difficult to get writing done at home, opt to apply for residencies that might range from a few days to as many as two months. 

Some of these residencies are generously funded and require a nominal fee from the writer or artist; others don’t have as much of an endowment to support fellows, and those receiving residencies will, in some cases, need to pay for most of the room and board-related expenses from their own pockets.
